Job Summary
The Senior Systems Administrator at Healix Infusion Therapy is responsible for day-to-day system administration support for the corporate network and computer systems, including front and back-end VMware administration, data security, VoIP administration, and server monitoring. Key responsibilities include managing Windows Server environments, system integration, performing upgrades, monitoring systems for performance and security, troubleshooting complex issues, leading infrastructure modernization efforts, coordinating data backups, and overseeing SQL-based database systems. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have at least eight years of experience in IT roles, with significant knowledge of Microsoft Server products and VMware environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in the field of MIS, CIS, Computer Science, or related major from a four-year college or university
- Eight (8) years of relevant technical or business work experience
- Significant Microsoft Server suite experience (Server 2012R2/2016/2019, SQL Server 2019, Exchange, IIS 10+)
- VMWare virtualization experience (ESXi 7.0+, virtual networking, HA, DRS, clustering, snapshots, Server cloning, VMware Tools)
- Patch Management Experience in Windows environment
- PowerShell scripting knowledge
- Networking and routing proficiency (firewalls, {layer 2/3 features VLAN's, trunks, IP routing/sub-netting}, IPSEC tunnels, SSL VPN)
- VOIP PBX experience (SIP trunks, PoE phones, IVR, Softphones)
- Active Directory/LDAP user management
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Interaction with third-party vendors/partners
Desired Qualifications
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Office365 Administration, SharePoint and OneDrive administration is a plus
- Basic Cybersecurity knowledge (Sophos Central experience a plus)
- Basic Knowledge of Vulnerability/Scanning Tools and Pen Testing Procedures
