Job Summary
Senior Systems Administrator to support Systems Engineering for the Maneuver, Surveillance, & Engagement Division at NSWC Crane in Bedford, IN. Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Windows workstation deployment and provisioning solutions using MDT and MECM; develop and maintain automated task sequences for standardized OS deployments; build and capture Windows system images with Sysprep and WIM; administer GPOs and configuration baselines; monitor configurations for security/compliance; use PowerShell to automate deployment processes; maintain Windows deployment infrastructure (Windows ADK, WinPE); document deployment procedures and designs; provide user training; collaborate with cybersecurity to ensure DoD security/compliance; role requires minimum three days onsite per week in a hybrid work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of professional experience in systems administration
- Experience with Windows OS deployment and provisioning using MDT and/or MECM
- Experience developing and maintaining task sequences for automated workstation deployments
- Experience with Sysprep and WIM image capture processes
- Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation and systems management
- Experience with Windows ADK and WinPE deployment environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD 8570 Advanced certification (e.g., SecurityX, GCSA, CCSP)
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical documentation skills
