Job Summary
Senior System Engineer responsible for leading engineering tasks on small-to-mid sized projects, performing design reviews and system integration across RF/wireless and IP-networked components, including coverage/capacity design, RF LMR/BDA, WAN, and P25 interoperability. Role requires hands-on troubleshooting, producing design documents, and customer-facing collaboration; candidates should have experience with VMware ESXi, Linux, Windows, Fortinet/Nokia/Juniper networking, VPNs, IP networking, and public safety software; must be able to work remotely from a home office with occasional in-person collaboration, and be able to obtain required government background clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical discipline
- 3+ years engineering or technical experience OR 5+ years engineering or technical experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely (employer work permit sponsorship not available)
- Background clearance as required by government customer
- GROL or Amateur Radio Operator License or equivalent experience
- COMPTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or equivalent certifications
