SENIOR SYSTEM BUSINESS ANALYST

Job Summary
Senior System Business Analyst who serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT, owning end-to-end delivery of system solutions within the full SDLC. Responsibilities include eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements; translating needs into functional, technical, and integration specifications; designing integrated solutions; coordinating with vendors, architects, developers, and SMEs; leading system integration efforts across applications and third-party services; developing technical documentation and data flows; overseeing project scope, timelines, risks, and resources; and ensuring solutions are delivered on time and within budget. Requires a strong blend of analytical thinking, technical acumen, and project leadership with experience delivering complex system implementations and integrations, familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies, and knowledge of enterprise platforms including Applied-EPIC. Education: Bachelor's degree; 10+ years relevant experience; PMP or equivalent and business-analysis certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field required
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis, systems implementation, or IT project delivery
- Proven experience delivering complex system implementations and integrations
- Strong understanding of SDLC, system architecture, and application integration principles
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
- Experience working with enterprise platforms (Applied-EPIC, or similar preferred)
- Property & Casualty Insurance experience preferred
- Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent experience, preferred
- Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, etc.), preferred
