Job Summary
Senior System Administrator at Pipeline Health responsible for administering the organization’s computer systems to ensure high availability and security of supported business applications. Participates in planning and implementing system deployments aligned with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements, and mentors junior IT staff. Serves as liaison between hospital management and the IT department, while upholding AIDET patient communications standards. Responsibilities include capacity planning, coordinating with network engineering, ensuring data integrity and security, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, overseeing system upgrades, and contributing to projects and ongoing optimization of enterprise systems in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of seven (7) years of IT system experience required, including designing, implementing and supporting enterprise routing, switching, and firewall infrastructure.
- Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare specific IT experience required.
- Strong knowledge of multi-platform systems, virtual environments, and centralized storage.
- Strong knowledge of local area network administration.
- Proficiency in the design, implementation, and maintenance of SD-WAN and hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience supporting or integrating with colocation and datacenter environments, including cross-connects, circuit provisioning, and coordination with datacenter providers.
- Proficiency in advanced troubleshooting of complete routing and network security controls.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to Healthcare Information Technology.
