Job Summary
Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux-based production environments while deploying and monitoring cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Utho Cloud. Configure networking components including DNS, firewalls, VPNs, SSL certificates, and load balancers. Perform system monitoring, patch management, backups, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Shell/Bash scripting and support CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment. Collaborate with development teams to ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of production systems. Proactively resolve performance bottlenecks and implement infrastructure best practices for security and operational efficiency. Document system configurations and deployment procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in Linux System Administration and Cloud Operations
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Utho Cloud
- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, networking, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency in Shell/Bash scripting for automation and system administration
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar DevOps tools
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, production environment
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Windows Server Administration is an added advantage
