Job Summary
Senior CNC Applications Engineer responsible for leading turnkey projects, pre-sale activities, customer demonstrations, and training on CNC machining centers including Swiss-style lathes and multi-tasking machines. Role includes developing/implementing custom demonstrations, evaluating opportunities, writing engineering reports, cost estimates, and supporting onsite training at customer sites. Requires strong knowledge of Fanuc controls, 5-axis experience is a plus, and familiarity with CAD/CAM software; travel to customer sites for onsite training and engineering assistance is required. Strong problem-solving and communication skills to advise customers and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing
- 6+ years of applicable experience in an Engineering role
- Knowledge of Fanuc based controls, 5-axis experience is a plus
- Experience with CAD/CAM software, preferred but not required
- Ability to travel to customers for onsite training and engineering assistance
