Job Summary
Senior Surveyor at The Crown Estate in London responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations across a portfolio of multi-let commercial assets in North & West St James’s, ensuring health & safety compliance, enhancing occupier relationships and tenant experience, overseeing service charge budgets and reconciliation, leading lease management and tenant alterations, conducting regular property inspections, collaborating with FM teams, contractors and external stakeholders, supporting leasing activity and contributing to asset strategy and business planning, resolving tenant queries and disputes, mentoring junior colleagues, and embedding sustainability initiatives to improve building performance. MRICS qualification with post-qualification property management experience and strong office/retail asset exposure sought; hybrid working pattern available.
Required Qualifications
- MRICS qualification
- post-qualification experience in property management
- strong experience across office and retail assets
- experience managing service charges from budgeting through to reconciliation
- excellent understanding of Landlord & Tenant legislation and lease interpretation
- strong negotiation skills
- experience working with managing agents/contractors
- confident communicator with a customer-first mindset
- highly organised with ability to manage competing priorities
