Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise project-based survey and layout activities across assigned sites, including preconstruction design work, site setup, calibration, and drone operations. Lead crews of up to 10 surveyors while executing daily survey coordination, machine control support, and utility installation staking. Partner with site leadership, contractors, and trade partners to ensure accurate execution aligned with design intent and project scope. Serve as a primary drone resource for flight operations and data processing. Travel up to 100% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in related/applicable field or equivalent experience as a surveyor within the construction industry
- Experience in large scale utility installation
- Minimum five years of previous survey experience
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
- Current driver's license
- Computer skills in Bentley Inroads, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center or equivalent survey software
- Ability to operate equipment including but not limited to total station, GPS, data collector, etc.
- Ability to travel up to 100%
- Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status
