Job Summary
Senior-level surveying professional responsible for producing high-quality survey deliverables (topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, exhibits, plats, and surfaces) and transforming field data into accurate models. Roles include drafting, data processing, and computation with strong CAD proficiency, boundary and easement analysis under licensed supervision, and verification of deliverables to standards. Key duties include generating surfaces and 3D models from point cloud data (lidar/photogrammetry), performing field-to-office data reduction, reviewing work for accuracy and compliance, interpreting title reports and easement documents, coordinating with Licensed Surveyors, and supporting project surveyors with control processing and data integrity using Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience, 5+ years in land surveying, and expertise with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and related surveying software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent years of experience in Land Surveying
- 5+ years’ experience in Land Surveying
- AutoCAD Civil 3D, required
- Trimble Business Center, required
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center
- Experience with GPS and field data processing
- LSIT California preferred
- Proficiency with CAD software and data processing
