Job Summary
Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in line with their care plans, assisting with personal care, daily living activities, and promoting independence. Lead and mentor Support Workers during shifts to ensure the highest standards of care, while monitoring and updating care records and reporting changes in needs. Administer or assist with medication, liaise with families and multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control policies. Participate in training and supervision to maintain continuous professional development.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working as a Senior Support Worker or in a similar care role
- Good understanding of safeguarding, medication administration, and person-centred care
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
