Job Summary
Supervise and delegate tasks to a dedicated team of support workers to ensure values-based care is delivered to the highest standards. Support adults with learning disabilities, dementia, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities on a person-centered basis by following care plans, administering medication, and assisting with daily living tasks. Access the community and complete domestic tasks such as shopping support. This role requires a minimum of two years of experience in health and social care, including specific expertise with complex behavioral needs. Joining includes on-the-job training and opportunities to undertake professional qualifications in Health and Social Care.
Required Qualifications
- Supervise staff members and delegate responsibilities
- Deliver values-based support to the highest standard
- Previous Support Worker experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience supporting adults within a health and social care setting
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
- Experience working with individuals with autism
- Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities
- Experience working with individuals with mental health needs
- Experience working with individuals with complex behavioural support needs
- Support adults with mental health illnesses on a person centred basis
- Follow a care plan
- Administer medication
- Assist with daily living tasks
- Access the community
- Perform domestic tasks such as support with shopping
