Job Summary
Senior-level in-home disability support role focusing on safety, independence, and emotional stability for male participants with complex needs. Responsibilities include personal care (continence aids, showering, dysphagia), meal preparation, implementing behaviour support strategies, maintaining structure and routines, supporting independent living skills, documenting incidents, and ensuring regulated home environments. Must have experience with wheelchair support, hoists, high-intensity or escalated behavioural presentations, and calm, solutions-focused demeanor. Essential attributes include strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills; comfort with technology; and a commitment to participant wellbeing. Certifications required: NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children Check, NDIS Orientation Module, First Aid/CPR, Australian Driver’s Licence with reliable insured vehicle. Desirable: Maybo or similar Positive Behaviour Support training. The role operates on a part-time basis in Beaudesert, Queensland, with in-person remote arrangement.
