Job Summary
Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to support program requirements for Test Equipment, Tooling, Non-OEM components, and Repair & Overhaul projects. Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) ensuring inclusion of technical and quality assurance requirements, then analyze proposals to assess compliance and value. Lead contract negotiations with a strong understanding of complex terms, conduct project review meetings with suppliers, and monitor Engineering Change Orders prior to final delivery. Generate and manage Purchase Order documentation in alignment with Government Compliance Checklist requirements while serving as a liaison for vendor payment and contractual issues. This role requires less than 10% travel and supports the Military Aftermarket Division within Moog's Military Aircraft Group.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field of study
- Associate's degree in related field of study
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant Supply Chain/Procurement experience
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant Supply Chain/Procurement experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including customers and suppliers
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawing requirements
- Demonstrated ability to understand and follow Supply Chain regulations/procedures
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
- Requires less than 10% travel
