Job Summary
Senior Supply Planning Manager leading end-to-end supply planning within North America IBP/S&OP to optimize product availability while balancing inventory, capacity, and cost. Drive demand-to-supply alignment with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics; develop mid- to long-term capacity strategies; model scenarios to address supply-demand imbalances; implement SAP IBP and other planning tools; manage inventory policies, safety stock, and replenishment; collaborate across functions to ensure execution and continuous improvement; travel up to 15%. Located in Chicago, IL with the Ardagh Metal Packaging North America team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8–12+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or supply chain management
- Proven experience in S&OP / IBP processes
- Strong understanding of ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, APO, Kinaxis, OMP, Oracle)
- Experience managing complex, multi-site or global supply chains
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite and SAP skills
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills: can work with large data sets to provide analytical support to all aspects of the business
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Ability to travel up to 15%
