Senior Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary

Lead supplier and subcontractor activities from contract award through closeout, ensuring performance against cost, schedule, technical, and quality objectives. Develop and execute supplier management strategies while monitoring schedules, deliverables, and milestones to drive corrective actions and risk mitigation. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Contracts, and Program Management to resolve issues, negotiate pricing and terms, and support proposal efforts and new business pursuits. Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and subcontract cost management while ensuring compliance with government regulations and FAR/DFARS requirements. Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with approximately 20% travel, supporting highly engineered manufacturing programs for government customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of supply chain, procurement, subcontract management, or strategic sourcing experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 3 years supporting U.S. Government or government-contracted manufacturing programs
  • Experience managing supplier performance from contract award through program completion
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)
  • Experience using ERP/MRP procurement systems
  • Strong understanding of subcontract management principles and supplier performance management
  • Experience negotiating pricing, contractual terms and conditions, and supplier agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent business acumen with the ability to make sound business decisions
  • Experience collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to support new product development and production
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% as business needs require
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting highly engineered products within aerospace, defense, industrial equipment, or advanced manufacturing
  • Experience working on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) throughout the product lifecycle
  • Knowledge of supplier risk management, production readiness, and manufacturing operations
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders
