Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Job Summary

Manage procurement from requisition through delivery, lead category sourcing, RFQs, bid analysis, and negotiations to reduce total cost of ownership. Identify and qualify new suppliers with Quality and Engineering, drive year-over-year cost savings through supplier consolidation and specification optimization, and maintain supply agreements and pricing schedules. Own demand and supply planning by analyzing forecasts, maintaining ERP parameters, and converting production plans into purchasing actions while managing inventory to target levels. Monitor open orders and MRP signals to resolve shortages and protect the build schedule, serving as the ERP super-user for Operations. Build reporting dashboards and KPIs to enable data-driven decisions and partner with R&D on new product introductions and system implementations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and/or supply planning
  • Experience in medical device or other FDA-regulated, ISO 13485 manufacturing environments
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Working knowledge of procurement and supply-planning fundamentals, including PO and MRP management, forecasting, inventory optimization, and lead-time and safety-stock management
  • Proven supplier negotiation success with documented and measurable cost savings
  • Understanding of the qualification, testing, and documentation required to bring a medical device component into a controlled supply base (e.g., supplier qualification, first-article, and change control)
  • Strong analytical skills, to interpret data, report and model in Excel, and translate into action
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 purchasing controls
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced startup
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
  • Able to travel for work as needed
  • Satisfactorily pass comprehensive background screening
  • Satisfactorily pass drug screening (if applicable to position)
  • Occasionally picks up, carries, and moves items up to 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • ERP administration or super-user experience
  • APICS/ASCM (CPIM or CSCP) or ISM (CPSM), Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous-improvement experience
  • Proficient in using the Internet and Microsoft office programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
