Job Summary
Manage supplier development by assisting key suppliers toward QA and driving improvements using supplier scorecards. Own supplier audits to ensure compliance and lead functional teams in reaching industrial standards of excellence in generators. Interpret business challenges to recommend best practices that influence strategy, resource control, and policy formulation. Resolve complex problems requiring high-level evaluative judgment and construct recommendations outside set parameters. Work remotely with >40% travel, supported by relocation assistance, while advising management on important subjects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent
- Significant experience in Engineering or Supplier Quality or Manufacturing or relevant experience
- Good technical knowledge of Generators and quality
- Working knowledge in Quality / Risk Assessment / RCA / Qualification / Commodity Assessment / Non - Conformance
- Excellent command of English in both written and verbal communication
- Ability to understand and improve complex processes in a cross-functional environment
- Financial acumen, knowledge of pricing, costing and product accounting
- Ability to work effectively across functions
- Willingness and ability to travel >40% of the time
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to document, plan, market and execute programs
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in German is a plus
- Outstanding interpersonal, Strong communication skills, capable of influencing and driving regional counterparts
