Job Summary
Senior Supplier Program Manager responsible for leading a team of Supplier Program Managers, overseeing supplier contracts, pricing, and terms; manage supplier relationships and performance; coordinate with engineering, program management, finance, and legal to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement solutions; drive process improvements in supplier management, with emphasis on regulatory compliance (FAR/DFAR) and cross-functional collaboration; provide regular updates and reporting to executive leadership; oversee budget and cost control and ensure high-quality procurement outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in supplier or program management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry or a related technical field preferred
- Proven experience in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and leading cross-functional teams
- Thorough understanding of government contracting regulations (e.g., FAR/DFAR)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., APICS, PMP) is a plus
