Job Summary
Senior Supplier Development & Quality Engineer based in Shanghai, responsible for supplier development, audit, quality control and product improvement for OEM/ODM products; develop and evaluate suppliers, conduct qualification reviews, assess quality management systems, maintain qualified supplier directory, develop and optimize material incoming inspection standards, supervise inspection standard implementation, assess supplier performance (quality, delivery, aftersales service), coordinate corrective actions and supplier-improvement measures, handle OEM/ODM after-sales quality issues, and undertake ad-hoc assignments. Requires English communication, travel ability, and familiarity with IATF16949/ISO9001 and problem-analysis methods (8D/5W/QC).
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from engineering related majors in Electrical Engineering, mechanical, and electronics are preferred
- At least 5 years supplier quality management experience
- Familiar with quality management standards such as IATF16949, ISO9001
- familiar with problem analysis techniques such as 8D/5W/QC
- able to analyze quality issues, develop corrective and preventive measures, and track implementation effects
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical product quality control is preferred
- With good communication and negotiation skills
- Able to adapt to domestic/international travel work
