Job Summary
Senior-level management role overseeing residential programs, providing direction and supervision to Medical Coordinator and Direct Care staff to ensure high-quality, compliant services. Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance and readiness for external reviews, coordinating staffing and staff development, ensuring quality medical care with the medical coordinator and RN, maintaining confidential records, developing person-centered plans for new residents, managing fiscal accounts and audits, coordinating pre-admission processes, and maintaining effective communication across program settings. Role requires on-site presence including evenings, overnights, and weekends, with 24-hour availability for emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Human Services or related area and 1 year of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Completion of and/or enrollment in agency Management Training
- Valid Driver’s License that meets agency policy
- Lifting requirement of 35 lbs
- SCIP-R certification as per regulatory guidelines
- CPR certification
- Medication Certification required
- Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting and transferring individuals
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, staff, regulatory agencies or community
