Job Summary
Lead laboratory personnel in QC Microbiology within a cGMP manufacturing environment, overseeing day-to-day testing operations including environmental monitoring and microbiology analysis. Act as a people leader and technical SME, managing hiring, training, performance, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Drive CAPA and OOS investigations, participate in regulatory inspections, and champion continuous improvement. Ensure 95% on-time completion of tasks, oversee examination of test methods and changes to procedures, and coach staff on cGMP applications and environmental monitoring. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field and supervisory/ QC microbiology experience; role involves sign-off on authorized documents and maintaining strict lab safety. Salary range is $102,000–$170,000 with comprehensive benefits; shift is days, 0600-1630, Wednesday to Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field
- Supervisory experience and/or QC Microbiology experience preferred; relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
