Job Summary
Lead Production Supervisors and frontline partners to build leadership bench strength, mentor future leaders, and provide direct performance feedback. Remove barriers across production, quality, maintenance, safety, HR, and supply chain teams while documenting performance gaps. Step in as interim coverage for the Production Manager during absences or transitions. Lead cross-functional projects with significant operational, quality, or financial impact and troubleshoot moderately complex problems affecting multiple departments. Apply continuous improvement tools to enhance safety, quality, yield, cost, and service while ensuring strict adherence to Food Safety, GMPs, and regulatory standards. Anticipate constraints related to materials, staffing, and equipment to align plans with capability. Communicate effectively with Scheduling and Supply Chain Planning to align production capability with demand and articulate operational trade-offs to plant leadership.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance (at least state minimum)
- Acceptable driving record
- Vehicle that will ensure applicant can meet the travel necessities of the position
- Authorization to work in the country in which the role is based
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in dairy, food science, engineering, business, or related field
