Job Summary
Senior Supervisor, Brand Communications at TaylorMade Golf Company (Japan market). Responsibilities include developing and executing Brand Communication plans aligned with the global GTM strategy for Japan; leveraging media channels to drive market excitement; collaborating with global teams on messaging; leading GTM-related press content across social platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok); identifying and managing influencer and celebrity partnerships; overseeing external agency partnerships to maximize resources; developing insights on competitors and consumer behavior; ensuring efficient operation of the Brand Communication team and fostering talent development. Required skills include 3–5+ years in marketing/brand management, strong knowledge of golf equipment and tour, excellent Japanese and English communication, cross-functional awareness with product/sales/finance, and experience or interest in talent development. The role is based in Tokyo, Japan, with a focus on the Japanese market and global brand alignment.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in marketing/brand management, or equivalent experience in FMCG or sports industries (golf-related experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of golf equipment, technology, and tour
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Japanese and English
- Solid understanding of adjacent functions such as product, sales, supply chain, and finance
- Familiarity with coaching practices and 3+ years of experience in talent development (Nice to have)
