Job Summary
Senior-level Superintendent role leading heavy civil infrastructure projects from Bridgeport, CT to multiple project sites. Responsibilities include managing multiple crews and subcontractors, coordinating utilities and road/rail scope, developing look-ahead schedules, leading owner and stakeholder meetings, driving cost control and change-order processes, ensuring safety compliance, and leveraging scheduling software and digital plan systems to monitor production, productivity, and field documentation. Requires 8+ years in heavy civil construction with 4+ years as a superintendent, strong leadership, and experience with MUTCD-based traffic coordination, utility coordination, design-build, and railroad or outage work. Offers an opportunity to oversee multi-phase, multi-discipline projects valued from several million up to $25 million, with a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of heavy civil construction experience
- 4+ years of superintendent experience
- OSHA 30 or OSHA 500 certification
- DOT, bridge, rail, or transit construction experience
- Experience with scheduling software
- Railroad coordination or outage work experience
- Utility relocation coordination experience
- Design-build project experience
