Senior Superintendent (Water/Wastewater)

Job Summary
The Senior Superintendent oversees field operations on water/wastewater projects to ensure self-performed and subcontracted work complies with contract documents and the project schedule. Responsibilities include enforcing safety and QC policies, supervising field staff, training Assistant Superintendents and Engineers, developing work sequence plans and the project schedule, managing submittals and costs, monitoring field productivity, and ensuring punch lists are completed timely. The role requires knowledge of OSHA regulations, experience with federal/government projects, and a hands-on leadership style suitable for active construction sites and office tasks, with flexibility for extended hours during critical phases.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a related discipline
- 8-10+ years of water/wastewater construction experience with a large-scale commercial contractor or equivalent
- Experience building federal or government projects successfully from start to finish
- In-depth knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower
- Demonstrated ability to lead field operations
- Working knowledge of applicable regulations (OSHA)
