Job Summary
Lead all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction progress, quality control, and a clean site. Develop a comprehensive understanding of project strategy, including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, and milestones. Work in partnership with the Project Manager to maintain an accurate project schedule reflecting status changes while meeting cost and time requirements. Demonstrate effective dialogue with the project team regarding work changes, job conditions, subcontractor relations, and project deviations. Promote positive relationships by dealing expertly and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors while instilling this philosophy in the project team. Requires 10+ years as a Project Superintendent managing large commercial out-of-ground work and complex, high-visibility projects. Miami base salary range $125,000 - $225,000.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience as a Project Superintendent at a general contractor
- Experience in managing field personnel and all trades on site
- great communication skills
- the training, developing and mentoring of others
- complete understanding of full site work package
- high-level finishes
- Experience with complex and logistically challenging, fast paced and high visibility projects
