Job Summary
Manage subcontractor performance, develop and track CPM schedules, and oversee general construction budgets and safety programs while training personnel. Comprehend design documents, review shop drawings, and assist the project team with material procurement to incorporate into the master schedule. Establish and monitor the quality control program, value-engineer throughout projects, and make sound choices using all available resources. Communicate effectively with all project team members and travel for projects as needed. Requires 15+ years of mission critical construction experience, a valid driver's license, and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
Required Qualifications
- at least 15+ years of successful field project management experience in mission critical construction
- Post high school education or equivalent in the construction field
- Possess a valid driver's license
- must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test and subsequent random testing
- Travel for projects as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading and supervising a project team
- Strong working knowledge of BIM and/or CAD and current building codes
- Previous experience creating and managing a MS Project schedule, and familiarity with the construction market
- Self-motivation and can supervise and work well with others while fostering a positive and inclusive work space
