Job Summary
Senior Superintendent leads executive-level field operations for Kent Companies' National Mission Critical Division on complex concrete construction projects nationwide, overseeing safety, planning, budgeting, staffing, and client communications across multiple sites. Responsibilities include identifying unsafe conditions, safety coaching, reviewing drawings, maintaining budgets and schedules, supervising subcontractors and field crews, managing labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring quality and alignment with contract scope, and driving on-site performance. Requires 10+ years of concrete construction experience at superintendent level, 3+ years on mission-critical projects, proficiency in reading blueprints and construction technologies (Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Excel), strong leadership and communication skills, willingness to travel up to 100%, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to pass background and drug screenings, and U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of concrete construction experience at the superintendent level
- 3+ years of experience on Mission Critical Projects
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to learn and utilize applicable construction technologies related to role (Bluebeam, Autodesk construction cloud, excel)
- Proven experience with leading and motivating teams on a regional or national level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be self-motivated, organized, able to work independently, and forward thinking
- Must be comfortable with National Travel – up to 100%
- Valid driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation to the workplace(s)/ job location(s)
- Ability to successfully pass a background check related to driving
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
