Job Summary
Supervision of construction projects ensuring successful completion while enforcing safety procedures and managing quality control. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the CPM job schedule, recruiting and coordinating field construction teams, ordering materials, preparing reports, and conducting final close-out with Owners. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture (or equivalent) and at least 8 years of supervisory experience, specifically in K-14 projects. Strong knowledge of OSHA laws and job scheduling is required, alongside a current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) Certification or the ability to obtain it within six months.
Required Qualifications
- Project experience working on K-14 (DSA)
- Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience
- Extensive field construction experience at supervisory level (Minimum 8 years as Superintendent)
- Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) Certification, or achievement of STS Certification within six months of hire
- Working knowledge of all crafts
- Knowledge of OSHA laws
- Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting and cost control
- Ability in problem-solving
