Job Summary
The Senior Superintendent will lead and oversee day-to-day field construction activities on assigned jobsites, organizing and managing a large project staff. Responsibilities include ensuring site safety, planning jobsite layout, and managing the implementation of construction procedures. The role requires a proactive approach in resolving construction issues, supervising field engineers, maintaining high-quality workmanship, and coordinating with project managers to monitor labor costs and compliance with local laws. A qualified candidate will have significant supervisory experience in commercial construction and must possess strong planning and technical skills.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in construction management, construction science, engineering, or relevant discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education (High School diploma) and experience
- 10+ years of commercial construction field experience, including direct supervisory experience
- Proficient with reading plans and specs
