Job Summary
Senior Healthcare Superintendent leads field operations on large hospital and acute care projects in the Seattle area. Responsibilities include on-site supervision of superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and construction personnel; assisting the Sr. Project Manager to supervise the total construction effort per design, budget, quality, and schedule objectives; developing site logistics plans; providing technical input on construction methods and MEPF systems; overseeing QA/QC processes, inspections, and testing coordination; reviewing trade contractor payment applications; tracking costs and maintaining detailed schedules; preparing daily reports; conducting subcontractor coordination meetings; enforcing safety and health programs; building relationships with Owners, Architects/Engineers, and project partners; mentoring field Superintendents and Engineers.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of construction industry experience
- Extensive experience leading field operations on large hospitals or acute care facilities
- Involvement in complex, high-value healthcare projects
- Experience with hospital infrastructure systems
- First Aid/CPR Certification required
- ICRA and OSHA Certifications preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with project contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
