Job Summary
Lead overall field operations for complex federal construction projects across Eastern Washington and Idaho, managing master schedules, site logistics, and daily production while coordinating self-perform crews, subcontractors, and government representatives. Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and budget targets by overseeing compliance with federal documentation, RFIs, submittals, and closeout processes. Anticipate challenges, resolve conflicts, and communicate proactively with project management, estimating, and executive leadership. Utilize construction technology to streamline reporting and maintain accurate records. Requires 10+ years of federal vertical building experience and willingness to travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience delivering federal or military vertical building projects in a superintendent or senior field-leadership capacity
- Demonstrated success leading large, technically complex commercial projects from mobilization through turnover and closeout
- Strong knowledge of federal contracting requirements, documentation, quality control, safety standards, and inspection processes
- Proven ability to lead subcontractors and coordinate structural, architectural, building-envelope, MEP, life-safety, and finish scopes in active jobsite environments
- Technologically proficient and comfortable learning and using scheduling, project-management, documentation, and field-reporting platforms
- Strong planning, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet project-access requirements
- Willingness to travel or work at project locations in Eastern Washington and Idaho, as required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with federal agencies such as USACE, NAVFAC, or similar government clients
- Experience with ground-up commercial construction, renovations, occupied facilities, and technically demanding building systems
