Job Summary
Oversee all day-to-day job site activities, including OSHA safety compliance, subcontractor mobilization, and documentation of progress. Direct field personnel according to the project plan while managing excavations, material deliveries, and job site utilization. Establish and maintain the project baseline schedule, leading pull planning and six-week make-ready meetings to ensure work meets contract expectations. Communicate daily issues, events, and performance to the Project Manager to facilitate cost-effective solutions. Ensure all subcontractors participate in safety pre-construction meetings and maintain required insurance certificates and site-specific safety plans. Manage project closeout activities, including transfer of utilities, owner training, and punch list resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline
- 8 to 12 years of experience related construction fields
- Applicable area licenses
- Must possess effective communication skills
- Must possess business judgment to negotiate the critical balance between budget and construction processes
