Job Summary
The Senior Superintendent leads all field operations on a complex aerospace and defense project in Orlando, overseeing jobsite safety, quality control, and project scheduling while coordinating with the Project Manager. Responsibilities include supervising contractor work to maintain project flow, interfacing with contractors and trades for performance and compliance, serving as liaison among owner, contractors, and engineers to ensure drawings/specifications/schedule alignment, maintaining project schedules with area Superintendents, reviewing shop drawings and contracts for constructability, enforcing safety policies, initiating field-trouble paperwork, providing leadership and mentorship to the project team, and driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and innovation within the aerospace/defense construction sector. Requirements emphasize 7+ years of experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, industry standards knowledge (DFARS/ITAR), and U.S. citizenship with background checks; Veterans encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to successfully complete an extensive background check
- Knowledge in Aerospace & Defense Construction, Security, and Quality (a Plus)
