Job Summary
Manage large complex projects, perform engineering analyses, develop conceptual designs, and lead technical teams through issues. Assist in finalizing contract specifications, evaluate bids, and resolve problems requiring creative, non-standard approaches. Provide support on land, permitting, and legal matters while exchanging information with contractors, vendors, and public agencies. Independently plan work to meet objectives under general direction. Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, eight years of experience, substation project management skills, and a current California PE license.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited curriculum in the US or the equivalent from outside the US
- 8 years of cumulative experience in electrical engineering and design
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in multiple large-scale, large budget electric substation projects
- Experience in substation engineering
- Skilled in project management
- Current California PE license
