Job Summary
Senior Substation Engineer responsible for HV/EHV substation design and delivery across AIS/GIS, coordinating with civil, protection & controls, earthing and studies teams; ensuring compliance with National Grid specifications and DNO standards, CDM regulations, and delivering electrical engineering deliverables and bid documentation for projects across the UK; role includes visiting site locations and client offices, with emphasis on safety, quality, and timely delivery; experience with Amtech software for LVAC fuse/MCCB studies and knowledge of HVDC primary plant is advantageous.
