Job Summary
Prepare substation drawings including General Arrangement, Electrical Equipment Plans, Section Views, Bill of Material, Lightning Stroke Shielding Plan, Grounding Plan, and conduit details. Interpret vendor information into design deliverables and perform walkdowns at client facilities while applying client standards. Work within a project team environment for high and extra high voltage substation design. This hybrid role requires 12 years of substation physical design experience and proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 12 years of substation physical design experience
- An Associate's Degree in Drafting, or a high school diploma and 2 or more years drafting course work or equivalent technical experience
- Proficient with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- Ability to visualize parts in 3D without the aid of the computer

- An Associate's Degree in Computer Aided Design
