Job Summary
Manage large complex projects by performing engineering analyses, studies, and developing conceptual designs. Lead, coach, and direct technical employees while assisting with contract project specifications and bid evaluations. Provide support for land, permitting, and legal issues, resolving problems of complex scope through creative, non-standard approaches. Independently plan work to meet general objectives under direction, coordinating with contractors, vendors, public agencies, clients, and internal management. Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 8 years of cumulative experience, and a current California PE license.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited curriculum in the US or the equivalent from outside the US
- 8 years of cumulative experience in electrical engineering and design
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in multiple large-scale, large budget electric substation projects
- Experience in substation engineering
- Skilled in project management
- Current California PE license
