Senior Substation Engineer - P&C

Senior Substation Engineer (P&C) responsible for designing and delivering substation projects from conceptual through detailed design. Works in an integrated project team to produce deliverables such as one lines, schematics, layouts, site plans, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and bills of material. Requires an undergraduate electrical engineering degree (master’s in electrical power engineering preferred), extensive experience in substations, knowledge of protection schemes and digital relays, NEC/NESC familiarity, and proficiency with Microstation/AutoCAD. The role includes a hybrid schedule (3 in-office days per week, 2 days remote) with a preferred office in Richmond, VA. The candidate should have strong design review capabilities, the ability to mentor junior engineers, and the adaptability to work across various client standards and multiple concurrent projects.
