Job Summary
Senior Subject Matter Expert responsibilities include serving as the USMC point of contact and liaison to related IPTs and working groups; coordinating with program managers for SHIELD, TAGM, and C-UAS efforts; integrating as the local USMC point of contact into IPTs and Army PM GBAD discussions; providing program-management, engineering, test and evaluation, software management, and system safety liaison support; participating in working groups; and conducting persistent surveillance of the Air Defense and C-UAS ecosystem to identify opportunities in support of the warfighter. Requires a Master’s degree (or applicable work experience), at least seven years with the USMC, active SECRET clearance, proficiency with MS Office, and experience with C-UAS capability integration. On-site, with locations including Huntsville, AL and multiple US military installations listed, and occasional travel; standard schedule Monday–Friday 8AM–5PM (CT).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or applicable work experience)
- At least seven years’ experience working with the USMC
- Active SECRET security clearance
- Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, MS Project)
- Experience with C-UAS capability integration
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Marine Corps Air Defense environment
- Ability to perform program management analysis, planning, liaison and operations support
- Ability to work in an office setting with extensive computer use
