Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Subcontract Specialist with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support major subcontracts procurement for the Space Systems Division, requiring significant experience in government contracting and contract administration.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in supply chain management, contract administration, or a related discipline.
- Ten or more years of progressive professional experience in subcontract administration or contract management.
- Well versed in Government Contracting (e.g., FAR, DFARS, ITAR).
- Experience demonstrating a broad application of acquisition principles, theories, and concepts related to government rules and regulations.
- Experience and familiarity with Statements of Work and SDRL management.
- Experience with various contract types (e.g., FFP, CR, CPFF, T&M).
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to provide leadership in developing and communicating new concepts.
Desired Qualifications
- SAP experience is desirable.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance required.
