Job Summary
Senior Structures Engineer role at Arcadis Iasi leading structural analyses and modeling across complex projects. Responsibilities include performing calculations, providing technical advice, reviewing drawings/reports/specs, coordinating and delivering engineered deliverables, ensuring quality in accordance with Arcadis standards, and guiding project teams. Requires experience in reinforced concrete/steel/prefabricated structures, finite element analysis, and detailing software (SCIA, ROBOT, MIDAS, Idea Statica). Opportunities to work on 3D modeling, parametric design, and digital methods, with emphasis on coordinating with partners, managing design adjustments, and contributing to sustainable outcomes. Strong technical English and interpersonal skills are valued; knowledge of geotechnical/hydrotechnical aspects and scripting/automation tooling is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant Structural engineering degree
- Experience in reinforced concrete, reinforced and prestressed, steel and/or composite structural calculations
- Experience and competence in finite element analysis and application
- Proficiency in detailing software for reinforced concrete
- Ability to guide and check the work of other team members
- Multilingual proficiency in languages like French and German (Nice to have)
- Demonstrate an analytical mindset and proactive attitude toward self-directed learning and professional development
