Senior Structural Project Manager

Job Summary
Coordinate the design process to meet project schedules and budgets while developing structural specifications, construction procedures, and calculations for design integrity. Lead the structural team in engineering and drafting tasks, overseeing project coordination internally and externally with architecture, MEP, and other disciplines. Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, manage change proposals, and conduct site observations during construction phases to produce detailed reports. Participate in coordination meetings with other disciplines and design review sessions with supervisors, clients, and owners. Manage projects during the Construction Administration Phase, including attending OAC meetings as needed. This role requires a Structural Engineering license (S.E.) and at least eight years of progressive experience, with K-12 project experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a Structural emphasis
- Structural Engineering license (S.E.)
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive structural engineering experience
- Experience in K-12 project experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Three or more years of leadership experience in multi-discipline project teams
- Strong knowledge of Building Codes and design codes
- Proficiency in structural engineering software and office tools such as ETABS, SAFE, RISA, RAM, ENERCALC, Excel, and Bluebeam
- Expertise in designing various structural materials including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
