Job Summary
Senior Structural Engineering Project Manager responsible for delivering multiple, complex structural engineering projects with EOR duties, leading teams of engineers and interns, and coordinating with architects, contractors, owners, and design teams. Role encompasses planning, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring codes/best practices compliance across higher education, public/municipal, and high-end custom residential buildings, with a focus on constructibility, quality deliverables, and business development within the AEC industry.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's in Architectural/Civil/Structural Engineering; Master's in Structural Engineering preferred
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) with structural focus in Texas
- Minimum six (6) years experience in structural engineering, including coordinating, designing, and drafting architecturally driven buildings
- Experience in project review and Engineer of Record (EOR) duties
- Experience in conducting the structural engineering design and analysis for gravity and lateral frames
- Experience developing comprehensive construction documents and custom detailing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Creative problem-solving and critical thinking
- Exceptional project management skills
- Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, RAM Structural System, Tekla Structures, and RISA
- Location preference: San Antonio, TX; Alternate locations: Bryan, Brenham, Fort Worth, Georgetown
