Job Summary
Deliver structural engineering designs for buildings in high-security environments, from concept through to construction. Lead and manage small to medium-scale projects, overseeing planning, resourcing, programme, and quality control. Coordinate input from architecture, MEP, and other design disciplines to ensure fully integrated solutions. Attend client and design team meetings to present structural design solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Support senior colleagues on complex projects and mentor junior team members within a collaborative practice. Obtain United Kingdom security vetting clearance due to the nature of the work.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or closely related discipline)
- Chartered or working towards chartership with a recognised professional body (e.g. ICE, IStructE)
- Proven experience as a structural engineer delivering building projects
- Experience coordinating with other design disciplines and managing interfaces on multidisciplinary projects
- Ability to obtain United Kingdom security vetting clearance
