Job Summary
Senior Structural Engineering Designer responsible for designing and drafting structural engineering construction documents for projects across the U.S., including steel, concrete, pre-stressed concrete, timber, and masonry. Coordinate with Site/Civil Engineers, MEP Engineers, Architects, and Construction Project Managers; conduct site feasibility research and site visits; generate reports and recommendations; assist with design tasks, budgets, addendums, RFIs, and change orders; contribute to design development and contract document phases; support project approvals. Degree in structural/civil engineering required with 3+ years’ experience; Revit and AutoCAD proficiency; EIT preferred. Hybrid work arrangement with 1-2 days in the Frisco, TX office, with remote options possible for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in structural/civil engineering
- 3+ years of experience with electrical design for buildings (preferably commercial projects such as retail, restaurants, grocery, financial, and/or convenience stores)
- EIT preferred
- Revit, MS Office required, AutoCAD is a plus
