Job Summary
Senior Structural Engineer with leadership responsibilities across design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year projects in building structures and infrastructure. Lead project delivery, ensure compliance with technical, commercial, and regulatory standards, manage stakeholder relationships (clients and internal teams), provide technical guidance to a national, multidisciplinary team, and mentor junior engineers. Requires a Civil/Structural Engineering qualification (Bachelor to Masters) and 6+ years of industry experience in relevant sectors; proficient in structural design (including post-tensioned concrete) and cross-discipline project delivery; opportunity to grow within WSP’s national structure and benefit from global-scale projects and employee share plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor to Masters’ level degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Typically 6+ years' industry experience on building projects in commercial/retail/defence/health or education sectors
- Proficiency in all-round structural engineering design including post-tensioned concrete
- Track record of effective cross-discipline project delivery
- Ability to lead, train and mentor junior engineers
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Experience with BIM and project delivery in a multidisciplinary engineering setting
