Senior Structural Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary
Design structures for municipal water and wastewater facilities by reviewing project specifications, manufacturer submittals, local standards, and codes. Analyze and prepare structural calculations and details of structural elements while maintaining a high degree of quality in plan sets. Manage project tasks, design, permitting, and construction coordination through regular communication with less experienced staff, clients, government entities, and regulatory agencies. Create work plans, adhere to client budgets, and monitor project progress, schedules, and costs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to successful project completion.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant structural engineering design experience
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the potential/desire to lead a practice and manage clients and a team
Desired Qualifications
- Structural Engineering (S.E.) License preferred
- Relevant municipal engineering experience including designing structures for water/wastewater treatment facilities
- Positive attitude, self-motivated; sense of urgency to produce high quality work
