Senior Structural Engineer for Arcadis in Virginia Beach or Richmond, focusing on climate adaptation and water-management projects. Leads structural analyses and designs for flood risk reduction, waterfront infrastructure resilience, dam safety, and lock/navigation structures, with responsibilities including calculations, plans, specifications, proposals, coordination across disciplines, and mentoring junior staff. Proficiency with STAAD, MathCAD, AutoCAD, and Revit is advantageous; master’s degree and federal resiliency project experience are preferred. Travel to project sites and client meetings may be required.
